HOMECorp always has a number of projects on the horizon. While some of these are attainable, in some cases we simply lack the resources or expertise.

Sustainable Growth and Energy

• Solar Panels will help to bring down the energy costs that our tenants have to pay each month. Solar energy is getting cheaper, but we don't have one large building to make it maximally cost effective. The upfront cost of this project is too much at this time, but we are determined to build in a sustianable and energy effecient fashion, and solar panels are a key facet of that growth. Each of our building has a unique, seperate structure that needs it's own plan. 

• Green Roofs would also help to bring down energy costs. In combination with solar panels, this could drastically bring down heating and cooling costs to save tenants money throughout the year and for many years to come. By doing these two projects at once we can minimze the cost of any roofing repairs or additions, and minimize some of the initial costs related to our properties being spread through Montclair. Through the completion of these projects we will teach our neighbors about energy efficiency and add to the unique appeal of our community.
