In December 2013 HOMECorp sold 26 Tichenor Place to Larry Tobias and Kaitlin Stillwell, local artists and former Montclair renters. The buyers paid $199,900, the full asking price. HC originally acquired this formerly foreclosed single family home in February 2013 and completed a moderate rehabilitation.
Kaitlin, a non-profit employee, and her husband, Larry, an actor and director, never imagined that they would be homeowners particularly in a community like Montclair.
“Finally,” is the single thought first-time home owner, Cheri Seright, utters as she thinks about her new HOMECorp home. Ms. Seright traveled an eight-year road toward this monumental achievement.
